After years of living in their house, this couple were finally ready to upgrade their college-level couch and get furnishings that would match the beautiful craftsmanship of the home’s architecture. Despite their limited budget, we were able to find two classy leather couches to turn their living room into a cozy place ready for a cuppa tea and a good book! We really enjoyed bringing rustic furniture pieces into their space and showing them the beauty of several items they already had. One example was an awesome green metal cabinet we found in their garage that, with a little TLC, fit perfectly under a piece of artwork they had from past travel. We also got to repaint the space, add a yummy green feature wall, clean up the existing crown molding, and add new lighting, hanging plants, throw pillows, and an upcycled accent chair. They had some fabulous art and items that weren’t being displayed, so we had the privilege of providing some fresh perspective on their collections as we displayed them in new ways. We also found an old dresser that we restored and set up below their wall-mounted guitars, which paired perfectly. It was a great example of what our redesign & reassess, overall upcycle, and wall overhaul services can bring to a space!
